FNBO Rebrand

Big, bold change for the great big, small bank.

First National Bank of Omaha has been in business for more than 163 years. And in that time, the bank has grown significantly to 100 locations across eight states. With that growth and reach, it was time for the bank to evolve the brand again and bring it into the 21st century.

It all started when they came to us about their recent decision to take the brand in a bold new direction and embrace the shortened new name of FNBO. Inspired, we worked side-by-side with their creative and marketing teams to reimagine the legacy brand and to develop a simple, modern brand identity that fit their tagline, "the great big, small bank."

Together, we developed a brand system and architecture that could showcase the bank’s history, brand, and customer-led commitment while also elevating the many divisions, products and services they provide clients.

When it became orange:

When we started seeing the new identity in Memorial Stadium, the branches, and across the region. And when their brand team put their trust in the Daake team to continue work organization-wide in the form of advertising, branding and marketing.
