Rather than walls that separate people, a series of new environmental displays at First National Bank technology in Omaha brings employees together in the spirit of innovation and collaboration.

Created by Daake as part of a revitalization effort at the bank’s technology division offices downtown, the display walls are strategically placed throughout the work areas. One striking design immediately impacts visitors and employees as they exit the elevators. Another energizes the transparent walls of a conference room with a vibrant pattern of color.

The various displays incorporate spirited design patterns, hexagonal shapes and imagery including activity symbols and “thought bubbles.” Deep colors and the use of magnetics, cork and dry erase boards invite people to interact with the different surfaces.

The result produces a cohesive work environment over a large area while promoting ideas and the sharing of information in a creatively intelligent way.
