Hi, I’m Steven Valish

I am a Senior Design Director here at Daake. For over a decade I strive each and every day to be orange. Being apart of a team of the nations most talented designers from right out of college is what I cherish the most. 

From a young age I have always found art and architecture fascinating. Second grade is one of my earliest memories where I remember excitement for art, being awarded first place for a health fair t-shirt design. (It was red tee with a smiling tooth on it from what I remember). As for the architecture side, I think that stems from Lego’s. Loved those little multi-colored blocks and still do! 

Daake is all I know and what I care about professionally. The opportunities and friendships over the years are what I would measure as success. I’m a competitive person and was raised to work hard. So with this comes high expectations and a relentlessness attitude to achieve the best possible outcome for everyone involved. I expect nothing but the best across the entire scope of the project from myself and the team. I take every project personal and invest all I have into it.

Perfection doesn’t exist, but I still strive to achieve it with every opportunity.
