Engage the kids and use our step-by-step guide to inventing and creating a new brand.
At Daake, we're still doing all we can to help clients take on the challenges created by COVID-19. But like you, we're also doing all we can to keep ourselves, and our kids busy, creative, and positive.

At Daake, we love to transform brands. And we can't wait to be inspired by all of yours. Even this here Turtle Family is getting in on the action. Just follow their lead!
Step 1
Invent your business.
Think of a fun, crazy new business you could start. Make it the most disruptive, unique company you can. Hash it out as a family and decide together.
Step 2
Name your creation!
Is it named after one of you? Or is it a completely invented word? The best brand names are those that are different, brief, easy to spell, but also can tell a story. Brainstorm a list of names together and choose the best one.
Step 3
Pick your 'spirit guides.'
Which famous person best represents who your brand is? If your brand was a song, what song is it? If your brand was a smell, what’s it smelling like? If it was something from nature, what would it be (tree, rock, mountain, gecko, etc.)?
Step 4
Draw your logo!
We know you have some artists in the house somewhere. Use paper, Photoshop, finger paints - whatever tools you want, and draw/color three logo options. Then, work together to choose your favorite.
Step 5
Create cool stuff.
If this is a product on the shelf, then what’s that packaging look like? If it’s an app, what does your app icon look like? If you’re like the Turtle Family, and you created a store, what does the storefront look like? Create some cool stuff and bring your vision to life.
Step 6
Share your work!
Please photograph your new company’s name, logos, and mockups, and share it on Instagram with the hashtag #HomeBrainstorm. OR, simply send to HomeBrainstorm@daake.com.
