Nebraska Medicine’s promise of delivering, “Serious Medicine. Extraordinary Care.” goes well beyond marketing.
This philosophy is the driving force behind the organization, and it played a large role in extending its message to a broader audience. Nebraska Medicine came to us with the idea of creating a publication that reflects its dedication to advancing medicine while delivering a very human, compassionate experience. The organization believed this could help share stories of success and leadership in the marketplace.
We led a collaborative effort between the hospital’s marketing department and skilled writers and photographers to create a publication that tells heartwarming stories of patients and the life-saving treatments and procedures available at the facility. From naming the publication to headline creation, concepting stories to the overall design, members of our team provided expertise and direction on all fronts.
The title of the biannual publication, OneThousandOne, represents the amount of time, verbally, that it takes to count to one second. In that one second of time, a great thing happened at Nebraska Medicine. In fact, several things probably happened. A patient was cured, a researcher found the missing link, a nurse treated an injury, or a doctor comforted a family. The publication uses stories and thoughtful design to showcase, not only the expertise and innovation behind Nebraska Medicine, but also the care and personal attention its team gives to patients and families.
OneThousandOne serves as an informative tool for educating people of all the organization provides. This publication has been used as a talent recruitment tool as well as fundraisers and general awareness of who Nebraska Medicine is and what it strives to achieve.
